Letting go of another person's throat

This is an excerpt from my currently liked author, William Paul Young of the awesomely written novel, The Shack.

Forgiveness is not about forgetting. It is about letting go of another person's throat... Forgiveness does not create a relationship. When you forgive someone you certainly release them from judgment, but without true change, no real relationship can be established... Forgiveness in no way requires that you trust the one you forgive. But should they finally confess and repent, you will discover a miracle in your own heart that allows you to reach out and begin to build between you a bridge of reconciliation... Forgiveness does not excuse anything... You may have to declare your forgiveness a hundred times the first day and the second day, but the third day will be less and each day after, until one day you will realize that you have forgiven completely. And then one day you will pray for his wholeness...

Finally, The Ridleys, is on spotify. What an early Christmas gift!

Check out their Prodigals song. This song reminds me of the parable of the prodigal son in the gospel of Luke. However, instead of narrating the story using the perspective of the lovingly anticipating father, the song uses the perspective of the son. On his prodigal journey.

Whenever I hear the song, I can strongly taste the rebellion and bliss in its perky kind of melody.

Scoring ng exam ng mga bagets

Fourth day na ng pagchecheck ko ng exam ng mga bagets. Meron talagang naiintindihan ang mga konsepto at teorya. Meron ding mga walang wala.

Natawa lang ako na yung isa ay sinulat na lang ang mga pangalan ng santo sa item na pinapakumpara ko ang dalawang teorya na tinalakay sa klase. Naglagay na lang ako ng komento. "Sayang. Kulang ng apat na Hail Mary para sana makakuha ka ng 0.5 point sa item nato."
